The University of Minnesota TTE mobile app provides a digital resource for physicians, students, and the general public to explore an animated, three-dimensional model of the human heart, specifically aimed at enhancing transthoracic echocardiography skills. This simulator offers users the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the controls of a TTE probe and gain insight into how two-dimensional echocardiographic images correspond to the underlying three-dimensional anatomy. While primarily designed for training purposes, the application supports TTE certification preparation and broadens access to practical learning, enabling users to practice freely at their convenience from any location.
